Here’s a little info on what inspires an oodia yoga session …

8 Limbs of Yoga

At the foundation of all yoga (both kids and adults sessions) are Patanjali’s 8 limbs of yoga. Of particular focus in any oodia yoga session are:

● Asana – Movement in our Body
● Pranayama – Breathing practices
● Yamas & Niyamas – Ethics & Observances eg. Kindness, Truth, Moderation, Generosity, Discipline, Contentment

As we progress on our yoga journey we also encounter:

● Pratyahara – Inner Awareness
● Dharana – Concentration
● Dyana – Meditation

And when we have mastered them all we have achieved ..
● Samadhi – Enlightened Living

A typical oodia yoga session is designed not just for movement of the body (physical) but to incorporate as many of the other ‘essential activities’ as possible.
